Born in the heart of the Italian Alps, Ludovico is not a skier but is very keen to take the Northern seas on board Nanuq to look after the cosmic detector data taking during Polarquest2018’s last leg, from Longyearbyen, Svalbard to Tromso, Norway. Ludovico is just completing his bachelor degree in physics at EPFL and has a unique record of participation in science Olympics, from Astronomy as of 2011 to Chemistry (2012 and 2013) and last but not least, Philosophy (2015), where he scored second at the national finals in Rome and third at the finals in Tartu, Estonia.
