Ivan Gnesi got his PhD in Physics and Astrophysics in 2010 at the University of Turin, within the PAINUC (Torino-Dubna). Since 2006, for the experimental observations of collective nuclear effects he was awarded several prices by the Italian Physical Society. Since 2007 he’s a member of Compass collaboration at CERN, focusing on the internal structure of protons and neutrons. In 2008 he was appointed scientific referee for the Italian Nuclear Physics Institute (INFN). Since 2010 he has a Centro “E. Fermi” grant for the Extreme Energy Events project, investigating the high energy particle radiation permeating the out space.
