Polarquest2018 @ Cern: film screening and debate with the crew

POLARQUEST2018 - a "citizen science" research expedition in Arctic is the new event dedicated to our polar adventure and scientific experiments. On November 19, come at The Globe of Science and Innovation of CERN and meet the crew!

Experience the thrill of an Arctic adventure with the POLARQUEST documentary produced for Ushuaia TV (2019). Dorothée Adam Mazard, filmmaker and arctic reporter, recounts this trip through breathtaking images of the top of the globe.

Meet the international team of explorers, scientists and science communicators for the after-screening debate. Peter Gallinelli (expedition leader), Ombretta Pinazza (cosmic rays specialist), Paola Catapano (project leader), Mike Struik (technical coordinator), and Frédéric Gillet (Nanuq scientific coordinator and researcher at Université de Savoie, Chambéry) present their breaking record results in cosmic rays, microplastics and 3D mapping – all measured for the first time beyond 82° North latitude!
