Polarquest photography exhibit opens in Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti

“82°07′ Nord”, the exhibition of photographs taken during the Polarquest expedition, is now on display at Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti. Located in the midst of an exceptional landscape at an altitude of 2,778 meters, Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti is a cultural oasis in the mountains of Italy.

Our record-breaking trip is narrated with a series of “extreme” shots taken in the most remote and inhospitable places on Earth. The exhibit examines the consequences of pollution and raises awareness of what is happening on a global scale. It also highlights the expedition’s key successes, including the first ever samples of micro-plastic particles and measured cosmic rays penetrating into the edge of the sea ice pack at the record-latitude 82° 07′ North.

The exhibition curated by PolarQuest2018 and CRS4 CRS4 – Center for Advanced Studies, Research and Development in Sardinia.
